Students who are in advanced courses or who are doing research projects have 24/7 access to these labs. Facilities include standard UNIX and PC labs, as well as labs in robotics, multimedia and digital signal processing, and graphics and virtual reality.

Robotics and artificial intelligence lab

Multimedia and signal processing lab

Current research in this lab includes student-faculty projects on audio key finding, tonal representation/analysis, pitch sets, music alignment, virtual reality, and animations in this lab, which is also a part of the Ammerman Center for Arts & Technology.

Graphics and virtual reality lab
